Nice camera, but my wife told me I would never be aloud to leave the house dress like that under penalty of death,

I loved the concept of this art piece

What is a day at the fair without funnel cakes.

Are you lookin at me?

This is my good side.

beautiful sunset on the way home.

Went to the fair today and thought I would share a few of the pictures. Started off slow stood in line for 45 mins in 103 degree heat. Seems there computers were over heating. Yah think ? Poor little girl behind me in line probably about three years old could not wait any longer and had a oops. She was so upset. We finally got in and head over to the first building where all the commercial booths were. I saw this guy in the overalls my wife saw him at the same time and said "Do not ever leave the house looking like that." I said "That is not possible with you dressing me dear."

We then headed over to the 4H building. The art work there by these young people was extraordinary. The piece with the man putting his head through a brick wall was very interesting. Many of the other paintings and sculpture was just amazing. I took some pictures of many of the cakes the had decorated but I messed up and they were to blurry to post.

Off to see some of the animals. Most of the showing and actions were over as this is the last weekend of the fair. But I was surprised to see the Lamas. They are very interesting creatures. The first one I got a picture of saw me and turned as if to say "Take my picture", so I did. The next on just as I started to take the picture saw me and turned his head as if to say "This is my good side." They are very soft and friendly. There were a few goats and sheep still there but nothing to interesting.

Of course we finished the day with some funnel cake and fresh strawberries. As we sat there people watching we guessed who wore cowboy hats all the time and who got them out only for the fair. I was also amazed at the rainbow of hair colors that came by. Everything from hot pink, to blue, to orange. On the way home I saw the great sunset and ahd to add that in as a bonus. Hope you al lhave a great weekend.

They showed up after I posted, but it seems there's not editing feature tonight.

I don't mind the overalls -- especially at a fair, but the shirt is a bit busy for farming - LOL:) Love the llama shots, but the brick wall is my favorite! It makes a statement:)

Wonderful photos, Hiram. Thanks.
