The Wisdom of a Child

It was written by my grandniece, Nyessah , 8 yrs old and a 3rd grader at Nicholas Elementary.

I Have A Dream That all people can be equal instead of not equal. For an example one rich, one poor, one homeless, one whom has a home. That way there would be no fighting or talking about one another and no bullying. All of the world would be in peace. It would all just make common sense. It changes from a fighting, loud world to a peaceful, loving, caring world. All would be just peaceful with joy, care, love, peace and happiness. It would bring our Father, our original Father to the world, the cities, the towns, the countries, the states, the communities and mostly the universe. The universe is our home, oru parents' home, our grandparents' home, aunties' and uncles' home, our cousins' home, our siblings' home and mostly the Lord's home. And for the people we love and not love, for the people we care for and not care for. If hate meets hate, it won't solve it. If love meets hate your answer awaits you. Always remember to love whom you hate.

This was written by my Grand-Niece, she is is one half of a set of identical twins. Her mother is of mixed race and her biological father is African-America. She goes to public school and sees the prejudice and hate everyday. What a wake-up call to all of us as seen through the eyes of a child. I hope this bless you and convicts you as it has me.

Thanks Vlad, I do not get to see them as much as I would like but I will give her that hug when I do.

I have said it once, and I will say it again: We need to go back to kindergarten. Relearn humanity.

Excellent, thanks for writting this.

Out of the mouths of babes.

Would that adults show such wisdom.

Thanks for the uplift, my good friend Hiram. Smiles.

Enoch.

I am glad I could provide an uplift. I often wonder what happens to us as we grow older we claim to be wise but more often look the fool. There is something to be said for the wisdom of innocents.

Thanks Hiram for sharing your grandniece's poem. "Always remember to love whom you hate" is a pretty powerful statement. I sometimes have trouble doing that myself.

Wow, I love the piece written by your grandniece. She sounds much wiser than many adults. Thank you for sharing that with us.

I imagine she will love getting the feedback. :)

I had my wife come over and read it as well. She appreciated it too.
